Raglan Community Radio Advertising and Sponsorship Policy

Raglan Community Radio Inc. is a FM frequency Radio Station located in the Raglan Town Hall. Volunteers from the local community who have an interest in music and the community staff the radio station, an elected committee manages the station.

RCR 98.1 broadcasts 7 days a week - 24 hours a day. RCR 98.1 relies on grants and advertising to keep the station on air, to purchase music and equipment. RCR 98.1 endeavours to provide a variety of music and information 24 hours a day.

We can offer you the following advertising packages:

1. An advertisement made to your specifications of no more than 40 seconds duration. The advertisement will be played once every three hours. The cost of this service is $20 (GST inclusive) per week for a local business, or $25 (GST inclusive) per week for business’s operating out of the township, plus a $25 production fee for each advert made.

2. For show sponsorship, a trailer is produced – advertising the host DJ – music content and the supporting sponsor. This trailer is played randomly throughout other hours of broadcasting. As a bonus an advertisement will be produced, this advert will be featured hourly during the said show and randomly throughout other hours of broadcasting. The cost of this service is $43.33 (GST inclusive) per month, plus a $25 production fee.

Payment for all advertising and show sponsorship is to be made by automatic payment or cheque monthly in advance.
